Complementary plantings


 Humans have had a close relationship with plants , though these have had an even closer relationship with each other. For best results of the vegetables , herbs, fruits and flowering plants is important to adopt a plan of organization based on common sense . There are many aspects of complementary plantings , including the mixture of vegetables and flowers in the same flowerbed .
 This technique began centuries ago in European rural gardens , but in present applies worldwide and more projects in permaculture , creating compositions of vegetables in flower beds and the ecological gardens which are a harmonious blend of all type of both edible and ornamental plants . This union is a beneficial way between vegetables with fruits, flowers, herbs , trees and shrubs , you just have to imagine a garden like Eden .
 There are many reasons for the current popularity of complementary planting , as you probably will find as you go doing your permaculture project. Plants can and do help control insect pests , a mixture of plants with different tolerances to disease decreases the risk of virus or bacteria damage our garden.
